Well I watched the videos in the links forwarded to us.
I realized that things bore me extremely quickly. I have trouble listening to a full song, nevermind watching some of these videos.
Well the first link refused to work for me.
The virtual reality chess set, I didnt understand the purpose of. Its an interesting idea, but somewhat pointless. Id maybe appreciate it more if this virtual reality thing was being shown doing something you normally cannot experience that would be pretty cool, this to me was a waste of technology.
Second one the 3D animation one, i really liked for some reason. Maybe because it involves fish, or the music or the context. I was uber sad when the fishy died :(. I actually added this to my favourties on my computer.
I must be dumb for not understanding what the panoramic thing was about, but it came across as a big waste of time. It was looking at the same thing over and over again.
Haahahah the machine follows you and makes annoying sounds! I enjoyed this one, its interactive. Fun.
Robots are scary. Bugs are scary. I guess I didnt really like it, I did but I didnt. Its an interesting idea, but I dont understand the purpose of it. Okay cool you made a robot, has some cool technology behind it, but what is its purpose.
Enough with virtual reality. Why do people need to see themselves do something on a screen to be entertained? Stupid. Once again, technology being used for a stupid purpose.
I dont know alot of them just seemed like big wastes of time, has no purpose, or very little. Yes some of the stuff they did was cool, but in general, there was no meaning behind it. To me anyways. Nothing really caught my attention, except the fishes.
I watched a video of Maya Lin's work in Art and Design Now, and it really caught my attention. I really enjoyed it alot.
